AI video generator reviews: five tools, priced from their own pages

The problem with AI video generator reviews is that almost none of them read the pricing page. Four of the five vendors below render their prices in JavaScript or behind Cloudflare, so the numbers that circulate get copied between roundups until nobody knows where they came from. We opened each one in a real browser on 27 July 2026. InVideo Plus is $20 a month, not the $28 repeated across a dozen comparison sites. Envato’s cheapest plan does not include AI video at all. Here is what each vendor actually says.

Envato Elements

Am besten für stock-first teams who want AI as an add-on rather than the point

  • Core $39/mo month-to-month, or $16.50/mo billed annually — and AI video generation is not included at this tier.
  • Plus $59/mo, or $39/mo billed annually, is where AI video generation and editing (VideoGen) starts, with 100 AI generations a month.
  • Ultimate $169/mo, or $109/mo billed annually, lists unlimited AI generations.
  • Generations refresh monthly based on your subscription start date, and Envato grants a lifetime commercial licence covering AI generations used as part of an End Product.
  • Watch the fine print: the pricing page ties Core’s 10-generation cap to a date in August 2026, while the AI hub still describes an unlimited promotion that expired in February. The pricing page is the current one.

InVideo

Am besten für model breadth per dollar at the entry tier, plus a weekly free reset

  • Plus $20/mo month-to-month, or $17/mo billed $200 yearly, for 75 credits a month. Max $85/mo ($1,000 yearly) for 390. Generative $170/mo ($2,000 yearly) for 800. Elite $900/mo ($10,800 yearly) for 4,250.
  • The $28 Plus price repeated across comparison sites is wrong. We read $20 on the page on 27 July 2026.
  • Credits buy generation, not export: InVideo states that downloading or exporting content does not use credits, and every paid tier lists unlimited exports without a watermark.
  • Model cost varies enormously — InVideo’s own example is a Kling 2.6 Standard clip at 0.5 credits against a Veo 3.1 4K clip with audio at 10+.
  • Unused credits do not roll over. The free plan’s quota resets weekly, on Monday at 00:00 UTC.
  • Watermarks appear on previews and are removed on export for paid subscribers — but anything exported before you upgraded stays watermarked and has to be re-exported.

Hula AI

Am besten für occasional use, because the credits do not expire

  • Lite $15.90/mo, or $159/year, for 8,400 credits a year — which Hula rates at roughly 280 motion clips or 300 videos.
  • Pro $35.90/mo, or $359/year, for 22,680 credits. Premium $69.90/mo, or $699/year, for 48,930.
  • One-time packs with no subscription: Mini $6.90 for 175 credits up to Studio $69.90 for 2,790, and Hula states these credits never expire.
  • A commercial-use licence is listed on all three subscription tiers. Pro and Premium additionally state no watermark on any output; the Lite card does not carry that line.
  • Disambiguation: these figures are from the hulaai.co web platform. A separate mobile app named Hula, published by Prequel, is a different product and is not priced here.

PixVerse

Am besten für knowing the per-second cost before you generate

  • PixVerse publishes per-second credit costs, which almost nobody else in this list does: V6 at 360p is 5–7 credits a second, 540p 7–9, 720p 9–12, and 1080p 18–23. Audio adds 2–5.
  • Clip limits: V5.6 and V5.5 reach 10 seconds; V5, V4.5, V4 and V3.5 reach 8 standard or 5 on Turbo; multi-transition sequences reach 30 seconds.
  • API platform plans: Essential $100 for 15,000 credits a month, Scale $1,500, Business $6,000. Pay-as-you-go starts at $10 for 1,000 credits.
  • Its own benchmark: "$1 = 5 videos (v6, 720p, 5s, no audio, with Starter pack)".
  • Membership credits expire at the end of each subscription cycle; separately purchased extra credits do not.
  • The consumer subscription page did not render prices for us without an account, so the figures above are the API platform’s published rates. Widely-quoted consumer tiers on comparison sites are not sourced from a PixVerse page we could read.

FlowPix

Am besten für image and video from one brief on one credit rate — above $69/mo

  • Video requires the Pro plan at $69/mo (9,000 credits) or Ultimate at $159 (22,000). Starter and Basic cannot generate video.
  • Eighteen video models, priced per second, cheapest at 2 credits a second. 1 credit = $0.01.
  • Clips run 1 to 10 seconds. There is no long-form or extension chaining.
  • No watermark on any plan, and no re-export needed after upgrading.

  • Every tool on this page can generate video for less than FlowPix can. Video here requires the Pro plan at $69/mo, and nothing below it generates a single second.
  • InVideo has a free plan whose credits reset weekly, on Monday at 00:00 UTC. FlowPix has no recurring free allowance at all.

For most people asking this question the answer is InVideo Plus at $20 a month — it is the cheapest entry here that includes the current frontier models, and export does not burn credits. If you also need stock footage, Envato Plus at $39 billed annually is better value than buying a generator and a library separately, but note that Envato’s cheapest plan excludes AI video entirely, which is exactly the kind of detail a roundup that never opened the page gets wrong. If you generate in bursts rather than monthly, Hula’s non-expiring credit packs from $6.90 suit that shape better than any subscription. Artlist makes sense at the top of the range or not at all, because its unlimited tier is gated behind credit volumes that its two cheapest plans cannot reach. FlowPix is the honest last place on price: video is Pro-only at $69/mo, and if video is the main job a dedicated vendor will cost you less.

Why do published prices differ so much from comparison sites?

Because most of these pricing pages render in JavaScript or sit behind Cloudflare, so automated readers get an empty page and writers copy figures from each other instead. InVideo Plus is the clearest case: $20 on the page, $28 across at least six comparison sites. Open the pricing page yourself before you trust any roundup, including this one.
